About The Position

Primary Duties: Strategic Research & Information Management Conduct research and prepare detailed donor briefings in collaboration with the prospect management team, focusing on leadership-level donors. Synthesize complex donor and prospect data into concise, actionable reports for university and hospital leadership. Maintain awareness of donor interests, philanthropic trends, and institutional priorities to support strategic fundraising efforts. Leadership Prospect & Operational Portfolio Management Coordinate and manage the internal review process for philanthropic proposals. Maintain accurate donor and gift records, tracking engagement milestones, and ensuring data integrity. Facilitate coordinated donor outreach by maintaining centralized tracking of key donor interactions and next steps. Support donor pipeline tracking and identify key trends in leadership-level prospects. Leadership Reporting & Analysis Pull and analyze donor data to support strategic decision-making and leadership reporting. Use data visualization tools and presentation materials to communicate trends and insights effectively. Compile and organize briefings, reports, and materials to prepare leadership for meetings and engagements. Operational & Administrative Support Track deliverables and coordinate follow-ups to ensure meeting objectives are achieved. Manage special projects from initiation to completion, providing research and analysis to support strategic decisions. Maintain leadership task lists and priorities, ensuring timely follow-through and alignment with organizational goals. Refine and tailor executive-level summaries and key takeaways to equip leadership with concise, strategic information. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Two (2) years' experience in professional environment, preferably higher education or not-for-profit, working with data entry and databases.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in higher education, healthcare, or nonprofit fundraising.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools and donor reporting techniques.
  • Understanding of best practices in major gifts fundraising and donor stewardship.
  • Experience with donor database systems (e.g., Raiser's Edge, Salesforce, or similar).
