About The Position

This position engages and interacts with educational institutions, foundations, members of state departments of education, and school and district administration to support the success of Educational systems in Michigan. The Office of K-12 Outreach is seeking educational professionals that have skill sets that align to the goals of our partners to support planning professional learning in a variety of areas including instructional design, research based best practices, school and district leadership, systems development, strategic planning, and state and federal initiatives. This position will help develop outreach proposals to expand programs offered by the Office of K-12 Outreach and develop and implement new initiatives focused on leadership development and capacity building to increase student achievement. Specialists must be highly skilled in using technology platforms for team collaboration. This position engages and interacts with educational associations, foundations, members of state departments of education, and school and district administration to disseminate content and progress updates in regard to the K-12 Educational system relating to programs implemented by the Office of K-12 Outreach. Develop outreach proposals to expand programs offered by the Office of K-12 Outreach. Develop and implement new initiatives focused on leadership development and capacity building to increase student achievement. Requirements

• M.A. in Education Field
• Specialists must be highly skilled in using technology platforms for team collaboration.

Nice To Haves

• Ph.D. in Educational Studies (k-12 Education or Higher Ed) and/or K-12 Administration
