Job Title: Specialist, Integration / Test Engineer - Avionics Job Code : 30432 Job Location: Greenville, Texas Schedule: 9/80 Job Description: Responsible for supporting the integration, troubleshooting and testing of various communication and surveillance systems and subsystems on various aircraft platforms. Thorough knowledge and understanding of operational procedures, testing, troubleshooting and maintenance techniques on 757, 737, and/or G550 aircraft communications, navigation and ancillary Mission systems. Must be able to read aircraft wiring diagrams and follow aircraft TO's. Candidate should have a working knowledge of test equipment such as, RF Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, Time Domain Reflectometers, Multimeters and Oscilloscopes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or similar and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 0 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
  • A current DOD Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI
  • 2+ years of experience with the use of industry standard test equipment and COTS hardware.
  • Must be computer literate to include use of Windows based programs and COTS software applications.
  • Must possess thorough analytical and trouble shooting skills and good communication skills.
  • Must be able to work any shift.
  • May be required to pass an FAA Class III flight physical.
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Willing to travel and work extended hours.

  • In-depth understanding of security best practices and experience implementing security controls in cloud environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Flight qualified preferred NOT required.
  • An active Department of Defense TS/SCI clearance
  • FAA Class III flight physical.
  • Airframe & Powerplant License
