About The Position

At LG Energy Solution Arizona, Inc., the Specialist II, Business Planning (Investment) will play a key role in supporting investment planning and financial analysis activities to ensure alignment with business objectives and operational priorities. This role is responsible for monitoring budget performance, preparing investment-related reports, and supporting planning processes including forecasting and mid-term investment strategies. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the specialist supports cost tracking, performance analysis, and internal coordination to ensure accurate reporting and effective execution of investment plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in business planning, finance, or a related function.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial and operational data.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for preparing presentations and business materials.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Support monitoring of budget vs. actual performance, identifying variances and assisting in development of corrective action plans.
  • Assist in annual budgeting, mid-term investment planning, and forecasting processes.
  • Prepare and maintain investment-related reports, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
  • Support internal investment review processes, including preparation of materials for corporate investment committee meetings.
  • Track and analyze overhead costs and investment-related expenses to support financial visibility.
  • Support reporting of target versus actual performance metrics and provide data for business analysis.
  • Coordinate recurring meetings related to investment planning, including scheduling and logistics.
  • Prepare meeting materials, presentations, and meeting minutes, and follow up on action items to support cross-functional communication.
