About The Position

The Investment Manager Services Division (IMS) at SEI is growing rapidly and is seeking new members on our Separately Managed Accounts (SMA) team. Our primary goal is to provide exceptional accounting and administration servicing for our clients’. As a Specialist, you are the face of our quality control and excellence deliverables by serving as the official record keeper of account level data. What you will do: Create, run, and maintain quality control reports for the SMA department. Maintain operations procedure documentation. Review, validate and reconcile pending and/or processed corporate actions on a daily basis. Manage complex operational and settlement issues. Identify and communicate trade discrepancies and trade fails with brokers and custodian banks to resolve account discrepancies. Ensure all established processing procedures and controls are completed accurately and timely on a daily basis. Collaborate with internal clients (primarily operations teams within SMA) via email and in person in a professional and accurate manner and provide backup support when needed. Works with team and manager to identify root cause analyses to correct and/or prevent deviations in processes and workflows, researches & resolves areas of risk, and create processes to mitigate that risk. Develop and process controls for enhancements to current quality control process. Act as a resource to other departments to resolve operational related inquiries. Participates in special projects as assigned by supervisor and/or department manager We want you to succeed and look for future solutions! Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in accounting, finance, business or related field, or the equivalent work experience.
  • 2 years experience in financial services, investment industry; separately managed accounts experience.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Advanced knowledge of Fiserv APL (specifically trading tools).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication and meticulous attention to detail
  • The self-motivation, organization and drive to complete multiple client deliverables in a timely manner without sacrificing excellence or quality.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills as you will primarily support your clients through email and/or phone calls.
  • Strong customer service skills as you will be communicating daily with your clients and other service providers.
