Job Overview The Eligibility Specialist I is responsible for entering, reviewing, accepting, scrubbing, and correcting clinic encounters in the EPIC Practice Management System. This position requires entering patients’ demographics, verifying patients’ insurance, making outbound calls to patients, and assisting patients through inbound calls.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of one year of experience required in a clerical environment.
Minimum of one year Customer Service experience required (preferably in a clinical environment).

Nice To Haves

Experience working in a healthcare environment preferred.
Experience in validating eligibility with healthcare plans is preferred.
