About The Position

Detail-oriented HR Specialist with expertise in maintaining accurate team member records, including certifications, compliance documentation, and sensitive employee data within fast-paced, high‑volume environment. Skilled in generating reports, managing HRIS systems, and providing responsive support to team members and leaders at all levels. Experienced in leave of absence administration and comprehensive case management, guiding employees through complex leave processes while ensuring regulatory compliance and exceptional service delivery. Adept at coordinating all administrative aspects of leave programs, upholding confidentiality, and delivering high quality, service focused HR support.

Requirements

  • At least one year of HR experience.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels and across diverse cultures.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a working knowledge of company and departmental rules, regulations, policies, and procedures along with Federal guidelines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of two (2) years of Leave of Absence Administration or related experience.
  • Prior experience working with Workday.
  • Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.

Responsibilities

  • Support with end-to-end leave cases (FMLA, ADA, USERRA, company programs) with full regulatory compliance and accurate documentation.
  • Provides comprehensive case management, claim coordination, and clear communication through case systems.
  • Serves as SME for leave inquiries, offering timely guidance to team members and leaders.
  • Maintains confidential HR records, including I-9 verification, licensing requirements, and HRIS data accuracy.
  • Responds promptly to inquiries on FMLA, payroll, benefits, I‑9, certifications, policies, and general HR topics.
  • Coordinates required documentation for government agency requests and supports LOA/HR compliance projects.
  • Assists with general HR operational duties, maintains confidentiality, and performs additional job-related tasks as needed.
