Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4+ years of progressive experience in finance.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to partner across functions and present financial insights to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Experience using accounting and ERP systems (SAP).
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Minimum of High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required for all roles at Scout Motors, Inc.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and month-end close activities across multiple functional areas.
  • Perform detailed variance analysis versus budget and forecast, identify key drivers, and clearly communicate insights to business partners.
  • Review and validate spending requests against approved budgets and financial policies.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages for leadership and senior management.
  • Maintain and enhance financial models, reports, and databases to ensure accuracy, consistency, and data integrity.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align financial plans with operational and strategic objectives.
  • Provide financial analysis, modeling, and ad hoc reporting to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Work closely with leadership to deliver department-level financial insights, performance tracking, and actionable recommendations.
