As a Dealer Growth Specialist (DGS), you’ll be the main point of contact for our Dealers and Field team providing support on key digital experiences. As a Dealer Growth Specialist, you will work directly with our Ford Dealers across the country to implement tools and processes to grow their business. You will work directly with our field organization to prioritize Dealer engagement and support with major Ford initiatives. You will play a pivotal role in our organization by partnering with Dealers to enhance their operational efficiency through effective onboarding, training, and ongoing support of the following, but not limited to, key initiatives: Delivery Day Tool (DDT) Preferred Dealer Selection within Ford App eLead Conversion with emphasis on lead management improvement Ford.com Digital Retail (FDR) with emphasis on pricing alignment between Tier 3 and Tier 1 Connected Services Order Mix Store Mode Your expertise will empower Dealers to optimize their processes, drive sales, and ultimately achieve their business goals. The Dealer Growth Specialist embodies the profound partnership between Ford and its Dealers, acting as the vital human connection that translates ambitious digital visions into tangible success. This role is less about mere tool deployment and more about cultivating trust, deeply understanding the unique needs of each Dealer, and collaboratively navigating the evolving digital landscape. Requirements

  • Must be able to live within 1 hour from the EMA office (50 Tice Blvd, Woodcliff Lake, NJ) and must be able to relocate within 60 days
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in training, sales support, and/or Dealer relations within the automotive, technology, or similar industries.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
  • A team player mentality with willingness to teach and learn amongst peers.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability for up to approximately 40% Market Area travel.

Responsibilities

  • Onboarding: Collaborate with Dealers to facilitate a seamless onboarding process for our suite of digital products such as Ford.com Digital Retail, Delivery Day Tool, Store Mode, lead management improvement and other technology tools partnering with FordDirect. Provide comprehensive walkthroughs of systems, ensuring Dealers are fully equipped to utilize all features effectively.
  • Training: Deliver training programs tailored to the needs of Dealers, focusing on best practices for using technology tools to enhance sales performance. Support creation of training materials, presentations, and resources to support Dealer education and adoption.
  • Sustainment: Establish ongoing support channels for Dealers, including regular check-ins, troubleshooting assistance, and providing updates on new features. Monitor Dealer engagement and usage of technology tools, identifying opportunities for enhancement and providing proactive solutions.
  • Relationship Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with Dealers to ensure a collaborative approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement. Serve as the primary point of contact for Dealers to help address concerns and gathering feedback to inform future enhancements. Work collaboratively with Regional Field teams, including the Business Development Manager, as well as the internal Dealer Growth team and business partners (e.g. Product team). Strategically partner with FordDirect and our Regional field team to maximize our digital efforts at established target Dealers.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze Dealer performance metrics related to the use of technology tools and provide actionable recommendations for improvement. Assess Dealer lead optimization and work to ensure they have processes in place to successfully turn leads into sales. Collaborate with internal teams to gather data on Dealer success and adjust training programs accordingly.
