Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/innovative-medicine We are searching for the best talent for a Specialist, Demand Planning and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) to join our Team in Raritan, NJ! The Specialist, Demand Planning and IBP will be responsible for consolidating global manufacturing capacity and demand across clinical, commercial, and product development stakeholders for a commercial CAR-T product. You will manage the demand allocation process in coordination with cross-functional colleagues and manage metrics/reporting related to the allocation outlook. This role will also participate in ongoing digitization initiatives to drive continuous improvement in standard business planning and scenario generation for senior leaders. Lastly, you will be involved in a fast-paced cross-functional planning environment, supporting the global IBP process for our commercial CAR-T product.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required
  • Minimum 2 years of related professional experience
  • Experience within Cell Therapy / Blood Banking Industry and/or technical / regulatory requirements
  • Excel Expertise (i.e., proficiency in VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Graphs)
  • Ability to build robust working relationships cross-functionally and cross company.
  • Strong numerical competence with the ability to understand how operational processes and numbers relate.
  • Requires up to 5% travel

Nice To Haves

  • Pharmaceutical/healthcare supply chain/planning experience
  • IBP experience preferred
  • Experience and understanding of manufacturing for a global customer base and associated regulatory complexities including allocation of materials by region/market

Responsibilities

  • Consolidates global manufacturing capacity and demand from the clinical and commercial organizations (and any product development demand) across all the different regions for a commercial CAR-T product
  • Completes supply and demand allocation across a global manufacturing platform and cryopreservation network
  • Support the monthly IBP cycle by preparing materials, coordinating cross-functional review meetings, and capturing consensus decisions and action items
  • Build and complete scenario planning and demand simulations to quantify risks and impacts to our global supply chain; offering recommendations to shape the network through clear and concise recommendations for senior leaders
  • Drives continuous improvements across IBP and Supply Chain processes and forums
  • Support digitization of the demand management processes for CAR-T
  • Shares final aligned manufacturing capacity with supply chain colleagues for loading into slot management systems
  • Leads consolidation of supply chain and global demand performance metrics for monthly reporting, as well as maturing forecast accuracy metrics and targets
  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with the commercial, clinical, and manufacturing organizations
