Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional experience with experience in automotive preferred
  • Bachelor's in automotive technology, electrical, software engineering or equivalent field. Master’s is a plus. An equivalent amount of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Knowledge of engineering processes and understanding of manufacturing processes. Preferably in automotive
  • Proficiency in advanced programming languages such as C++, C#, Java or similar preferred
  • Experience with tools to process and interpret CAN, LIN, or Ethernet data. (like CANalyzer/CANoe, Vector, etc.)
  • Experience in data analysis and data mining techniques.
  • Proficient in analytical and conceptual thinking, employing logic and reason in both creative and strategic contexts.
  • Demonstrated ability in creative and strategic problem-solving, with experience troubleshooting vehicle systems.
  • Ability to work independently and in a structured manner, displaying a high level of commitment, effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding electrical schematics.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to HIL testing/test automation is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support proper implementation and testing of software, functions, and diagnostics tests on the shop floor.
  • Quantify data results from the software verification process throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Produce data-driven validation analysis of commissioning, functional, and diagnostic errors.
  • Reporting out to validation team to help develop measures to address them.
  • Production focused development of guided fault-finding steps within commissioning stations throughout the production line. Communicating often with the after-sales diagnostics team.
  • Help generate reports, evaluations, and key figures, emphasizing error evaluations from databases.
  • Collaborate in cross-functional teams to identify immediate and long-term measures for improving quality and efficiency across the organization.
  • Document and interpret analysis results within a larger context, drawing general conclusions, and identifying actionable insights to enhance processes and systems.
  • Internally track defects to oversee their resolution and identify trends or recurring issues requiring systematic address.
  • Collaborate with validation engineers to translate test outcomes into actionable feedback and visualize large datasets (CAN logs, sensor data, ECU traces)
  • Support in the creation of dashboards and/or utilize reporting tools to monitor system health and regressions over time.
  • Help develop scalable solutions for validation data storage, querying, and retrieval as the test volume grows.
  • Utilize Ai or other methods for process optimization in guided fault finding, validation testing, continuous improvement and issue resolution.
  • Installation and troubleshooting of loggers and other data recorders for all the test assets within the Validation and Analysis team.
