As a Crew Scheduling Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the allocation of human resources within an organization. Your primary objective will be to ensure that the right number of employees, with the right skills, are available at the right times to meet operational needs and achieve business goals. You will utilize data analysis, forecasting techniques, and workforce management tools to develop efficient staffing plans and strategies for all seagoing Hotel, Deck and/or Engine personnel. This position works constantly with shipboard workforce planners to ensure short term and long-term planning are aligned. You will closely collaborate with shipboard and shoreside leadership teams to ensure the vessel is always manned with the appropriate talent required to run the onboard Hotel, Deck and/or Engine operation. You will also collaborate with department management on core team schedules. This position is also responsible for maintaining employee records, working closely with onboarding and travel team. You must be diligent and proactive, ensuring that manning shortage does not occur and if it does it is quickly resolved. You should be able to learn and utilize systems as well as stay current with system enhancements while actively contributing to develop new tools to optimize efficiency of workforce planning.
