This role is a unionized position within the Legal Resource and Corporate Governance business unit. The energy sector is rapidly evolving, offering exciting new opportunities for those who want to make a difference. This role reports to the Supervisor, Contract Processes and Systems and is responsible for the administration of Contract Management's processes and systems activities that support the maintenance of records and information related to Contract Management's portfolio of contracted electricity generation facilities. Key responsibilities include ongoing maintenance of the systems and processes that are used to maintain the Contract Management portfolio, administration of all Contract Management records, both digital and physical, liaising with the Contract Management teams to illicit requirements for system and process improvements, maintenance of training and guidance documents and contributing to reporting efforts as needed. This role is responsible for conducting comprehensive business analysis, advanced problem solving and oversight of system change requests, (including the triage and response to any CM system issues), providing subject matter expertise, and supporting all areas of records management. The position collaborates on software development projects, trains staff and drives process improvements. The Specialist will interface with stakeholders and other IESO departments in order to perform the functions outlined above.
