About The Position

The Alzheimer's Association has been awarded a 5-year grant from the Administration for Community Living, a division of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to establish the Center of Dementia Respite Innovation (CDRI). This center will fund new respite innovation projects across the country. This position will support the infrastructure of this work, specifically around communication, digital support and program logistics. This is a grant funded position.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred in nonprofit management, healthcare, communication or other related fields
  • 2+ years' experience in an administrative position
  • 1+ years experience in the aging space preferred
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 10%.
  • Attention to detail and effective time management and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with others.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment under deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills, strongly proficient with Microsoft Office products, Google suite, Zoom, Excel, Monday.com, Salesforce
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 10%.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Provide support in the communication, logistics and digital supports of the CDRI grant. This includes: Awardee conference and steering committee/advisory group meetings
  • CDRI office hours
  • Webinars, listening sessions & recruitment
  • Application distribution and review
  • Provide set up, maintenance and data entry of platforms including Monday.com, Salesforce, Submittable and the ALZ CDRI website.
  • Provide support in the creation of digital resources and dissemination in PowerPoint, PDFs, Excel, Zoom and other tech platforms.
  • Provide support in the maintenance of the CDRI email box.
  • Other duties as assigned.
