About The Position

Palms Associates is hiring a Special Projects Technician for Commercial Remodeling based out of Newport News, VA! (Occasional travel) Are you a skilled construction professional with a passion for remodeling and property renovation? Do you thrive in an independent, hands-on environment with the opportunity to make a visible impact every day? Palms is looking for an experienced Special Projects Technician for Commercial Remodeling to join our established team and contribute to our expertly managed apartment and commercial properties throughout the Southeast. As a Special Projects Technician for Commercial Remodeling, you’ll work independently and collaboratively on special projects across our apartment communities and commercial properties. Based out of Newport News, VA, this position involves typical travel to properties within a 3-hour radius, with occasional travel to other regional hubs including Raleigh, Charlotte, and other Southeast markets. A company vehicle will be provided for all work-related travel.

Estimating project timelines
Managing your daily schedule
Performing hands-on renovation work
Ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on all projects
Coordinating with onsite maintenance and leasing teams
