This role is built for hands-on leaders — Foremen, Superintendents, and Project Managers — who understand how projects get built and are ready to expand their impact into project leadership, client relationships, and business development. You’ll still stay close to work but now you’ll help shape it from the start, influence decisions earlier, and play a key role in growing the business. Requirements

  • 5+ years of field or project experience in HVAC, plumbing, or process systems
  • Background as a Foreman, Superintendent, or Project Manager strongly preferred
  • Deep understanding of how mechanical systems are installed and coordinated
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Interest in growing into client-facing and business development responsibilities
  • Strong communication skills and a natural ability to build relationships
  • Working knowledge of UPC and UMC codes

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring quality, safety, and profitability
  • Develop estimates, budgets, and proposals grounded in real-world field knowledge
  • Partner with clients, GCs, and design teams to win work and deliver solutions
  • Identify opportunities, follow up on leads, and help maintain a strong project pipeline
  • Collaborate with field teams and fabrication shops to ensure constructible, efficient plans
  • Drive value engineering and practical solutions that improve cost and performance
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources across multiple jobs
  • Lead meetings, job walks, and ongoing communication with stakeholders
  • Oversee change orders, procurement, and contract coordination
  • Support projects through closeout and warranty, ensuring long-term client satisfaction
