About The Position
The Bloomington ISD Federal Programs/Special Educaton Director will manage compliance, budgeting, and implemenation of federal grants, including but not limited to Title I-IV, ESSA, and ESSER. in accordance with EDGAR. Responsibilities include managing budgets and providing leadership in the development and implementaion of instructional programs that improve student achievement.
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of the Texas Legal Framework for Special Education
- Proficiency with TEA systems (TEAL, eGrants, TSDS/PEIMS)
- Ability to interpret and implement complex federal and state policies
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage budgets
- Ability to meet strict state and federal deadlines
