About The Position

Join a high-acuity diagnostic and interventional team in a leading acute care setting. This full-time role offers excellent pay, a generous sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance. As a Special Procedures Technologist, you'll support interventional cardiovascular and radiologic procedures in a collaborative environment focused on patient safety and outcomes.

Requirements

• One of the following certifications is required: RCIS or RCES certification from CCI (or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire) OR ARRT [RT(R)] certification from an accredited radiologic technologist program
• BLS certification (required)
• ACLS certification (must be obtained within 6 months of hire)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Special Procedures, Cath Lab, or EP Lab preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during cardiac and peripheral interventional procedures
• Scrub, circulate, and monitor diagnostic and therapeutic cases
• Administer contrast media according to age- and weight-specific guidelines
• Start and maintain IV access and follow physician orders precisely
• Record and interpret hemodynamic measurements and valve area readings
• Maintain a sterile field and prepare trays per protocol
• Accurately document cases using Meditech and PACS systems
• Measure and dispose of radioactive waste according to regulatory standards
