The Special Procedures Technologist assists physicians in the performance of advanced diagnostic and interventional procedures in specialized imaging environments such as Interventional Radiology (IR), Cardiac Catheterization Lab, or Vascular Lab. This role is responsible for operating imaging equipment, maintaining a sterile field, preparing patients, and supporting safe and accurate procedural outcomes. The technologist ensures compliance with radiation safety standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced procedural setting.
