About The Position

As a CACI-Mission & Engineering Services Special Operations Strategic Planner, you will facilitate and coordinate all aspects of operations-level planning, synchronization, and integration in support of a United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) Joint Task Force (JTF). As a Special Operations Strategic Planner, you will be embedded with SOF efforts to provide overwatch of operations and to ensure the development of proper mitigation strategies as required. Your in-depth knowledge of Irregular Warfare, Unrestricted Warfare, and Hybrid Warfare as it applies to each unique operational event or tasking will allow you to seek out, identify, plan for, propose, integrate, and evaluate exquisite capabilities in support of Special Operations. Your efforts also include, developing and maintaining comprehensive operational plans that align with USSOCOM's strategic objectives, collaborating with inter-agency partners and multinational forces to ensure cohesive planning efforts, and utilizing advanced analytics and emerging technologies to enhance planning capabilities.

Requirements

  • Current Top Secret/SCI clearance with eligibility for SAP access, and willingness to submit to a polygraph examination as required.
  • A bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years of experience or 12 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree.
  • More than five years of specialized experience in military or IC compartmented activities (IJSTO, SAP, ACCM, etc.).
  • Experience with Joint Planning Process (JPP) and Joint Operation Planning and Execution System (JOPES).
  • You must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Be able to provide daily feedback to the team lead and supported unit on product development.
  • Practical understanding of Microsoft SharePoint, Google Earth spatial analysis software, and web-based intelligence tools and databases available through SIPR and JWICS.

Nice To Haves

  • More than five years of experience with SOF, SMU, and Special or Technical Units of Federal, State, or Local Law Enforcement, and/or staff level experience at the GCC/TSOC level.
  • Experience and in-depth knowledge of the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP), including mission analysis, COA decision and CONOP approval briefings, D3A execution matrices, CONOP documents, and FRAGOs.
  • Experience in cyber and information operations planning.
  • Familiarity with artificial intelligence and machine learning applications in military planning.
  • Knowledge of current geopolitical situations and their impact on special operations.
  • Experience and capability to perform tasks with Microsoft productivity software and applications.
  • Must be able to work independently with some government oversight and function effectively as part of a team in a joint working environment.
