About The Position

As an Early Intervention Instructor or Developmentalist, you will have the chance to work directly with children from birth to age three. This position provides opportunity for flexibility while building a patient caseload, with the goal to work one-on-one with families in person or virtually. Parents and caregivers are coached through interventions based on daily routines and the child’s natural setting. Teammates have unique opportunities to collaborate with other childcare professionals to carry over goals while following an individualized Family Service Plan. As an Early Intervention Special Instructor, you can make a positive impact on children and families! Teammates work directly with children from birth through age three and their families, using a coaching model to empower the parents to be the ones who provide the needed supports and techniques to help their child succeed and achieve their goals . Services are provided in the child's natural setting, such as their home, daycare, or community setting. This is a per visit position (5-19 hours per week) with the opportunity to build to part time or potentially full time depending on need, flexibility, etc.

Requirements

  • Obtained Bachelor's Degree in one of the following majors: Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Family Studies, Early Childhood Development
  • All positions: Must have pediatric CPR and FA certification (includes infant/child CPR and in person skills testing)
  • Dedication to exceptional patient outcomes and quality of care
  • Must have completed fellowship year and earned their Certificate of Clinical Competence
