About The Position

As a Special Events Marketing Coordinator, you will leverage your 1+ years of experience in event planning and coordination to support the successful execution of events and promotions within the Special Events. Your role will involve collaborating with various departments, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring all aspects of events are carried out smoothly. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience
  • Experience in Special Events or a related field
  • Must be willing to work a Full-Time Schedule, 40 hour workweek.
  • Schedule will rotate on monthly basis due to events.
  • Must flexible to work various shifts including weekends and holidays in this role

Nice To Haves

  • Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts is preferred
  • Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment is preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of all events and promotions, collaborating with departments like PBX, Engineering, and Sign Shop as needed.
  • Compose event-related communications, including guest letters, memos, and promotional materials.
  • Research and manage relationships with vendors and entertainment to ensure event requirements are met.
  • Create and seek approval for rules governing events and promotions from Compliance, Legal, and Marketing teams.
  • Recommend and prepare gifts for events, including presentations.
  • Process vendor payments and create requisitions for approvals.
  • Attend events to ensure all details are executed properly and serve as the primary contact for any issues.
