About The Position

While each event has its own glitz and glamour, the real stars of any event are the people working behind the scenes. If you’re someone who values relationship building, has great communications skills, and loves to do the hard work, this is the perfect position for you! Live! is looking for a Promotions Coordinator to be the point person for all Live!promotions. This role will be key in the logistics and execution of events while serving as the department liaison between Marketing and all other departments and vendors. This is not a typical 9-5 so your availability is key, but with the added learning experiences, the opportunity for career advancement, and working in the electric gaming industry, it’s priceless.

Requirements

  • Ability to analyze and interpret departmental needs and solve complex problems.
  • Computer literacy
  • Time management proficiency
  • Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures and deadlines in an interruptive environment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite applications.
  • One (1) to three (3) years of experience in special events and/or promotions in a high volume hospitality business.
  • A four (4)-year degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license.
  • Ability to stand 75% of the time.
  • Ability to sit 25% of the time.
  • Able to life 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Run point during the execution of promotions.
  • Responsible for implementing and monitoring all promotions to ensure consistent and effective implementation and positive response.
  • Communicate and coordinate with all departments on all tournaments, promotions, parties, special events, and giveaways to produce all the necessary items for the specific marketing program.
  • Works with department’s budget and financial data.
  • Supervise staff at each marketing program.
  • Communicating details of marketing programs to all corporate, and partner companies.
  • Assists with holiday events, and community development programs.
  • Ability to work a flexible and irregular schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays.
  • Practice and demonstrate superior guest service.
