Special Equipment Operator 4 - Warehouse: $5,004 Retention Bonus for New Hires and Qualifying Rehires Starting At $20.84 Benefits Start on the 1st Of the Month Following Your Start Date JOB SUMMARY: Unload and deliver materials necessary for manufacturing needs. Duties also include: recording and warehousing raw materials and in-process materials for future use. WORK DEVICES: Roll clamp, box clamp, forklift, production sheets, clipboard, RF units, floor sweeper, snow removal equipment, and company truck. DESCRIPTION OF TASKS: Perform all duties in a safe and orderly manner Actively engaged, involved, and current in SBO process; Participate in safety meetings and safety tours. Ensure production and distribution of products consistent with established food safety, sanitation and quality standards. Deliver raw or in-process materials to production areas. Properly document transactions between production and warehouse. Operate RF unit. Store all materials in designated storage areas, properly documented and accordance with designated storage patterns. Consolidate product in warehouse to ensure proper room in warehouse. Unload, warehouse, and properly document inbound shipments. Load and properly document outbound shipments. Keep assigned area clean and orderly. Help in reconciling inventory problems. Notify Supervisor and/or Group Leader of any damaged shipments. Check areas of truck described on forklift check sheet and report problems to shift supervisor or group leader. Shuttle materials required for production needs from outside warehouse. Operate Powered Industrial Truck (PIT), baler machines, and tape sealing machines. Fill propane tanks, as assigned. Remove snow. Once qualified, instruct and train other operators. Maintain all work areas in a clean and orderly manner. Fulfill overtime requirements necessary to ensure production and distribution requirements are met. Assist in other areas or perform other duties, as assigned.
