About The Position
Thoreau Elementary School is seeking a dynamic, flexible, and collaborative team player to join our community as a Special Education Tutor. This individual will work closely with classroom teachers and specialists to support inclusive classrooms and students with IEPs, helping all learners thrive. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong commitment to fostering academic excellence, building a positive and respectful classroom environment, and encouraging each child to put forth their best effort. The tutor will provide both in-class and pull-out support in the areas of literacy and mathematics, helping students develop skills and confidence.
