Position Overview: Manage and lead a self-contained behavior support classroom for students in Grades K-2. Develop, implement, and monitor highly individualized, data-driven IEPs focusing on both academic progress and behavioral skills. Implement and supervise structured Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) and behavioral management plans within the classroom. Collaborate closely with district specialists and parents to ensure consistent student support across environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education or related field (Required)
• Valid South Carolina Certification in Special Education specializing in: Multi-Categorical, Emotional Disabilities, Moderate Disabilities, Elementary / Middle Disabilities, or Trainable Mentally Disabled (Required)

Nice To Haves

• Experience managing a self-contained classroom for students with significant emotional and behavioral needs (Preferred)
