About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team starting in January. We are excited to add another team member to our early childhood special education team (there are currently 2 special education teachers on staff). Starting salary is $60,000, pro-rated for the school year. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs in grades PreK-2.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the unique learning styles and abilities of each student.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure comprehensive student support.
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
• Create a positive, engaging, and safe classroom environment that promotes social-emotional development.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and compliance with district and state regulations.
