Bismarck Public Schools is accepting applications for a Special Education Teacher at Lincoln Elementary School for the 2026 - 2027 School Year. This position is responsible for providing direct, specially designed instruction to students in an elementary school. This includes evaluation of students, writing IEPs, developing programming, collecting data and reporting progress. This position will start August 14th, 2026. New Teacher Orientation will be held August 11th, 12th and 13th. A teaching contract is 187 days. External candidates are allowed to bring in up to 17 years of contracted K - 12 teaching experience. Applicants for teaching positions will be asked to complete the EPI Candidate Assessment. You should receive an email prompting you to complete this survey. This is timed and takes approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour to complete. You only need to complete the survey one time and then it will show as completed on all applications.
