About The Position

Our Organization is proud to support a forward-thinking school community in selecting a skilled Special Education Teacher with an active LBS1 certification for the 2025–2026 academic year. This full-time, on-site position is ideal for an educator who champions accessibility, embraces innovation, and is deeply committed to student-focused teaching. In this role, you’ll serve as a critical advocate for students with diverse learning needs—designing instruction that recognizes individual strengths and addresses barriers. Your work will involve close partnership with families, general education staff, and multidisciplinary support teams to ensure consistency and alignment across all environments. Requirements

• Bring meaningful experience in Special Education or a related instructional capacity, ideally with direct work supporting early childhood learners.
• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required
• Applicants must also hold an active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an LBS1 endorsement; please note that alternative or provisional certifications cannot be substituted for this requirement.

• Advanced graduate coursework or a master’s degree is considered a strong asset.
