About The Position

Clarifi Staffing Solutions is looking for a committed Special Education Teacher to join a junior high school team immediately. This full-time opportunity supports students in grades 5–8 through both co-teaching in math and ELA as well as instruction in a dedicated resource setting. With a manageable caseload of around 12 students, you’ll have the ability to provide meaningful, personalized support that drives student success.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related discipline (Master’s preferred).
• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement (required).
• Prior experience in a special education classroom or similar setting is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create, implement, and monitor IEPs to meet student-specific needs.
• Collect and analyze student data to monitor growth and guide instruction.
• Deliver small-group and individualized instruction within the resource classroom.
• Maintain an organized and encouraging classroom environment that supports student confidence and independence.
• Build strong partnerships with students, colleagues, and families to promote academic and emotional development.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to co-deliver engaging math and ELA instruction tailored to various learning needs.
