About The Position
Sun Mountain Community School is a Waldorf-inspired public charter school committed to supporting each child’s unique learning journey. Our approach to learning support is collaborative, creative, and grounded in respect for the whole child. We are seeking a Special Education Teacher / Interventionist for the 2026–2027 school year. This role supports students with diverse learning needs, including those with IEPs, gifted learners, and English Language Learners. The ideal candidate values collaboration, differentiation, and a strengths-based approach to student growth.
Requirements
- NM PED Special Education License (PreK–12)
- TESOL certification
- Experience with IEP development and implementation
- Interest in Waldorf learning support approaches
