Requirements
- CT Special Education Teacher certification, K-12
- Training in principles and technology of applied behavior analysis
- Experience working with children on the autism spectrum
- Experience implementing ABA strategies and data collection
- Knowledge of CT Core Content Standards
Responsibilities
- Develops and implements DTI instruction to students in multiple grade levels
- Works collaboratively with individual student teams
- Demonstrates applied behavioral analytic strategies and techniques
- Conducts behavioral observations
- Oversees data collection/analysis and development of data-driven goals and objectives
- Assists with implementation of ABA programs
- Supervises support staff in implementation of student programming
- Ensures all aspects of student plans are implemented with fidelity
- Communicates with staff, families, and outside agencies as needed
- Other duties as consistent with certification
