About The Position

QSAC is seeking dedicated and energetic staff looking to work with individuals on the Autism Spectrum, who will provide direct instruction. We are hiring for certified Special Education Teachers and Teacher Assistants. QSAC will be hosting an in person event with Hiring Managers that will give you the opportunity to receive employment decisions the same day. It will take place on 4.1.26 from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm at our Bronx School. Special Education Teacher: Special Education Teachers require NY State certification (Students with Disabilities, B-2, 1-6, or All Grades). Teaching responsibilities include implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEP), classroom management, participation in annual meetings, and completion of required reports. Extensive training and support are provided with opportunities for professional growth and development. $65,000-$90,000 annually - Commensurate with level of certification, education, experience and ABA credentials (if applicable). Teacher Assistants: Teacher Assistants require a NYS Teacher Assistant Level 1, 2, or 3 certificate. They will focus on one-on-one or small group instruction as outlined by the supervising teacher. $21-24/hr - Commensurate with level of certification. Regular work hours at the Bronx School is from 8:00 am - 3:30 pm Mon - Friday ( 1/2 hour lunch). The school operates on a year round schedule (12 months)
