About The Position

Now Hiring: Special Education Paraprofessionals | North St. Paul, MN | 2025–2026 School Year Hello Paras! Come work with a teacher and therapist run company! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Special Education Paraprofessionals in the North St. Paul, MN area for the 2025-2026 school year. These Paraprofessionals will be working in a Transition Program supporting students ages 18-22 as they gain independent living and employment skills. Responsibilities: Position: Special Education Paraprofessional Transition Program (ages 18-22) Full-time positions (30 hours of paid time a week) Support students working on independent living skills and employment skills Must be comfortable assisting with personal cares for adult students Assist in implementing student Individualized Educational Plan (IEP), 504 Plans, Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP), and sensory plans Work under the direction of a licensed teacher Qualifications: Associates Degree or equivalent, or 2 years post secondary and at least 60 completed credits OR Paraprofessional Credential through Minnesota Department of Education (such as passing score on ParaPro or ParaEducator Assessments or credentialed on the PELSB rubric) Clean driving record - van/bus training preferred Previous experience working in the school setting preferred Benefits & Perks Pay: $25-26/hour W-2 employment Healthcare benefits (medical, dental, vision) 401(k) with employer matching Paid sick leave Reimbursements for licensure, CEUs, and other professional expenses Mileage reimbursement at IRS rate Professional liability insurance coverage Referral bonuses No non-compete clauses Paid time off for volunteer hours and donation matching Benefits for 0.8 FTE or higher. Requirements
