Requirements
- Associates Degree or equivalent, or 2 years post secondary and at least 60 completed credits OR Paraprofessional Credential through Minnesota Department of Education (such as passing score on ParaPro or ParaEducator Assessments or credentialed on the PELSB rubric)
- Crisis Prevention (CPI) Trained (or willing to complete training)
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working in the school setting preferred
Responsibilities
- Primarily academic support
- Assist in implementing student Individualized Educational Plan (IEP), 504 Plans, Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP), and sensory plans
- Work under the direction of a licensed teacher
