About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Math teacher (grades 3-8) committed to ReNEW's mission of ensuring that all of our PK-8th grade students are academically and emotionally prepared to access the full range of life choices that are the fundamental right of every child in New Orleans. This unique role is at the ReNEW Therapeutic Program (RTP), an innovative, intensive therapeutic program for students with severe behavioral and mental health needs. The goal of RTP is to explicitly teach and support students to have the skills needed to transition to a less restrictive setting, when appropriate. At ReNEW, we transform underperforming schools into academically rigorous schools that prepare students for the next level of achievement, including high school, college, and career. Requirements

At least 2 years of urban teaching experience with a record of student achievement. working in a substantially separate setting, which meets the needs of students have severe behavioral and mental health needs
Bachelor's degree required.
