About The Position

This posting is for a Special Education Aide, Special Needs (PRIDE), at Coder Elementary School for the 2025-2026 School Year. Job Description and Current Compensation Plan are attached. This position is in the Pay Grade 3 category. Primary Purpose: Help special education teacher provide for physical and instructional needs of students with disabilities in a self-contained classroom, including self-help, behavior management, and instruction programs. Work under general supervision of principal and immediate direction of certified teacher.

Requirements

Minimum of 48 college hours required
Valid Texas educational aide certificate (the District will assist the employee in obtaining the certificate)
Ability to work with children with disabilities
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Ability to communicate effectively
Knowledge of general office equipment
