About The Position

Special Education Administrators provide leadership services to individual districts that contract for those services. The primary focus of SEAs is supporting the use of effective practices for instruction, intervention, assessment, and decision making in the districts in which they are assigned. Supervisors identify and solve problems, resolve conflicts when possible, collaborate with district and cooperative personnel, provide technical assistance and other professional growth opportunities to educators and family members and assist district administrators in the effective planning, administration and evaluation of special education services. TCSEA is a great place for new special education administrators to grow and learn.

Requirements

  • Professional Educator License in special education with an administrative endorsement (General Administrative or Principal)
  • Applicants with a Supervisory endorsement will also be considered

Nice To Haves

  • Preference will be given to applicants with a Director of Special Education endorsement.
