The Special Assets Manager, is accountable for the end-to-end management, control, and disposition of high-risk assets (otherwise known as special assets), including repossessions, liquidations, mortgage loss mitigation, bankruptcy, and probate. This role owns the design, execution, and monitoring of internal controls across the special assets lifecycle to ensure regulatory compliance, financial integrity, timely loss recognition, and commercially reasonable recovery outcomes. This position serves as the primary control owner for vendor oversight, inventory governance, charge-off timeliness, and documentation supporting recovery decisions. The Special Assets Manager is expected to proactively identify risk, escalate exceptions, and maintain TTCU-controlled visibility over all assets and processes under their scope. Supervises: Repossession, Bankruptcy, and Mortgage Loss Mitigation Teams.
