About The Position

Conducts routine credit investigations following established methods, prepares and presents credit reports to senior staff or committee, and assists with account servicing, credit administration, and documentation. Collaborates with Special Assets Officers on shared strategic CoBank clients and coordinates complex account servicing with Farm Credit System Partners. Supports management and staff through research and statistical analysis and carries out collection and portfolio management duties in line with Farm Credit Leasing (FCL) and Farm Credit Administration (FCA) policies and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, or relevant discipline preferred
  • 5 years of commercial collection and account workout experience. required
  • 5 years of relevant experience in banking or finance, preferable in credit. required
  • Microsoft Excel- Intermediate required.

Responsibilities

  • Collects, maintains and manages receivables on assigned accounts.
  • Responds to questions from customers and associates pertaining to invoices, contractual terms, restructures, extensions and payments on complex accounts.
  • Manages control over assigned accounts, monitoring for payment progress, developing problems, trends, and compliance with covenants.
  • Provides relevant and timely information to internal stakeholders including account officers, relationship managers, credit staff, and portfolio management staff.
  • Manages all activities associated with assigned non-performing accounts within established standards and delegations, including restructures, repossessions, litigation and bankruptcy.
  • Assists with credit administration, account servicing, development, packaging, closing, documentation, and monitoring.
  • Assists management in the preparation of internal research and analysis, provides statistical reports, and verifies information.
  • Prepares and delivers presentations on topics as assigned.
  • Develops and utilizes computerized spreadsheets, programs, and other automated tools for credit analysis, special projects.
