Requirements

  • Credit analysis skills
  • Knowledge of loan accounting
  • Understanding of loan workout liquidation policies and procedures
  • Good negotiation andmunication skills (verbal and written)
  • Thorough knowledge of loan documentation and other legal documents
  • Knowledge of legal and bankruptcy concepts
  • Accurate keyboarding skills, strong Microsoft skills
  • Bachelor's Degree Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field Required
  • 7-10 years Experience in consumer andmercial loan workout, collection, and recovery Required

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes and executes actions on assigned problem loans and determines the most efficient and effective method for maximizing financial recovery.
  • Identifies and pursues loan workout strategies for problem loans and provides effectivemunication to management on rmendations and actions.
  • Evaluates borrower's ability to resolve problem loan, negotiates forbearance and settlement agreements, restructuring of credit and repayment terms with clients, and attorneys to secure appropriate workout arrangements.
  • Maintains regularmunication with PLC, senior members of bank management, and credit administration while preparing PLC packets for distribution.
  • Manages delinquent loan payments and works with PC's for resolution.
  • Issues default and demand letters, monitors adnce to terms of workout agreements, and initiates appropriate collection activities.
  • Conducts site inspections, evaluates, protects, and disposes of collateral.
  • Preparing PLC and collateral value assessment and analysis memos for designated problem loans.
  • Evaluates collateral position to better secure loan and establish recourse to other borrower assets against the possibility of charge off.
  • Act as Liaison between the Credit department and Finance on matters effective problem loans.
  • Must have ability to identify when needed and conduct ASC analysis.
