At PNC, the Special Assets Consultant role within the Midland organization is an in-office position focused on managing special serviced loans and/or portfolios of customers with mid to high complexity. The primary objective is to minimize losses and optimize resolutions through transaction analysis. This involves gathering financial data, preparing analyses, and developing workout strategies. The consultant reviews relevant documents, negotiates workout options with customers to mitigate risks, and collaborates with internal and external partners, including borrowers and outside counsel, to secure collateral coverage and document agreements. Adherence to established policies and regulations is crucial. The role also requires evaluating asset or customer's financial health, including cash flow, balance sheets, and long-term business plans, and conducting site inspections for properties under special assets management. Consultants are expected to be customer-focused, prioritizing customer needs and satisfaction, and skilled in managing risks in line with PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework. This position may also involve mentoring peers and conducting team training.
