About The Position
Adams Bank & Trust is seeking an experienced, well-versed, and tenacious Special Assets banker to join its credit administration team. The individual must be located in Colorado or Nebraska. Adams Bank & Trust is a family-owned regional bank with 23 locations across Nebraska, Colorado, Kansas, and Arizona, offering Commercial, Agriculture, Retail, Trust, and Financial Advising services, along with online and app capabilities. This is a full-time position that can be based out of any of the bank's branches in Colorado or Nebraska.
Requirements
- Experienced, well-versed, and tenacious Special Assets banker
- Must be located in Colorado or Nebraska
Responsibilities
- Has primary responsibility for the management of adversely graded and past due loans ("Special Assets")
- Working closely with banker(s) and others to restructure credits, when necessary
- Secure collateral, equity, or other assets of the borrower
- Preserve loan principal
- Gather interest as possible
- Manage collection expense
- Prevent loan losses
