Our Engineers support internal and external manufacturing operations to remain operational, continuously improve and innovate. With our extensive range of facilities and environments, our Engineers have opportunities across many diverse areas including Biological, Chemical, Automation, Capital Projects, Maintenance, Safety, Process Development, Technical Services, Utilities and Validation. The Maintenance Shift Engineer is assigned to a manufacturing processing area and partners with the Operation’s Shift Manager to ensure the processing area(s) are operating at peak efficiency. The function of the position is to coordinate maintenance activities for personnel, equipment and facilities within the operating area. Primary Responsibilities Partner with the Operations and Maintenance Manager and employees to improve equipment up time and reliability Act as the Technical Observer and contributor in real time deviation investigations Manage, mentor and collaborate with Maintenance skilled craft persons assigned to the shift Maintain and evaluate Metrics to support Process and Maintenance Optimization Drive the execution and prioritization of the Maintenance Work Provide mechanical support the Operation’s Shift Manager in making Product by providing reliable fixed assets and utilities Collaborate with other site groups in troubleshooting issues. Analyze equipment and component breakdowns and implement continuous improvement activities to improve equipment reliability. This position requires the successful candidates to work a shift schedule that includes all of the days of the week and all hours of the day.
