Position Summary Owns purchase order processing from start to finish. Owns price discrepancy resolution regarding non-contract products and ensure correct price is loaded into ERP system. Obtains the right products, equipment and services at the right time for the right department at the right price and in the right quantity; sources and secures substitute product in the event of a product and/or market shortage; creates awareness and acts on product specific availability concerns; owns procurement related order resolution such as GHX interface, match exceptions and open order reporting and provides a high level of customer service.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of three years purchasing experience preferably in health care.
Nice To Haves
- Business or hospital supply chain experience desirable.
