About The Position

The SPC Inspector is responsible for the overall quality of product being produced by the line. This position will conduct a several test to complete this task.

Responsibilities

• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to learn and recognize proper produce weights.
• Ability to check chipper screen size.
• Ability to recognize produce related defects.
• Ability to read a graduated cylinder and use scales.
• Ensure machine and surrounding area is kept neat and sanitary.
• Adapt to changing situations and be able to establish priorities.
• Must be able to coordinate several activities concurrently.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, Crewleaders, QA, and Supervisors.
• Must be able to climb stairs.
• Ability to train employees as needed.
• Accurately complete all paperwork in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Must be dependable, self-motivated, and maintain an acceptable attendance record.
• Ability to read and interpret a variety of instructions/documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ensure actions remain consistent with plant safety goals and procedures.
• Understand Vlasic policies and procedures.
• Other duties may be assigned.
