Our core values are at the center of everything we do: Integrity, Mission Driven, Innovative, Gets Things Done, Positive A DAY IN THE LIFE As a member of the Spark team, you will be working in Millard elementary schools during the school year, Monday-Friday 6:30-8:30am and/or 3:30-6:00pm (and if available Wednesday 2:30-6:00pm). Our goal is to greet families and children daily, and establish and maintain positive relationships in a safe, fun environment. You will lead exploration and STEM activities, group games, outside play…and the occasional classic board game!

Requirements

  • A sincere desire and interest in working with children.
  • Leadership and communication skills to manage and appropriately interact with groups of children.
  • Ability to uphold program policies and procedures.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Meets all requirements for the Teacher Position as outlined in DHHS Licensing including a high school diploma or GED.
  • Has 1500 hours of verified clock hours of experience in organized group activities for school-age children as indicated by a positive reference from a former employer or supervisor; or
  • Must submit and receive a state approved pre-service training plan to acquire at least 3 credit hours or 45 clock hours of training in administration.
  • Ability to react and move quickly, indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions and otherwise fully participate in activities with children.
