About The Position

SPARCS Facilitator provides structured, trauma-informed group services to youth and adolescents experiencing stress, trauma, or emotional challenges, using the SPARCS evidence-based and program curriculum. SPARCS Facilitator manages groups, including following program curriculum and guidelines and documenting each youth’s progress in the sessions through case notes. SPARCS Facilitator will address the needs of the youth receiving services.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field with experience related to selected instructional topics
  • Experience providing group facilitation, skill-building sessions, or therapeutic style groups preferred
  • Prior work with youth and at-risk youth is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to manage group dynamics, maintain a safe and supportive environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organized, reliable, and able to maintain accurate documentation
  • Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance coverage
  • Bilingual (Spanish speaking) is a plus
