ManTech is seeking a skilled and innovative Quality Assurance Manager to oversee quality assurance activities in its analytical laboratories located in Sunol, CA. The role involves maintaining ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation, improving documentation processes, conducting audits, and managing corrective actions to ensure product and process quality.

  • Maintain the current ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation certificate for the Sunol facility and assist in future scope expansions.
  • Improve documentation including internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure product and process quality.
  • Write, implement, and/or approve changes to controlled documents as necessary.
  • Perform internal audits and coordinate ISO/IEC 17025:2017 or other regulatory audits of the Quality Management System.
  • Coordinate annual quality inspections.
  • Manage the Corrective and Preventive Action process for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain approved documents, training records, and logs in Document Control, ensuring adherence to procedures for changes.
  • Inform affected parties upon release of new documents.
  • Provide training to ManTech personnel in critical aspects of quality assurance, internal procedures, and good practices.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a scientific or technical field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing quality.
  • Extensive knowledge of quality systems, particularly ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
  • Knowledge of physical and chemical analytical techniques and methods.
  • Familiarity with safe laboratory procedures.
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Creative with excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Exceptional aptitude for details and accurate record keeping.
  • Detail oriented, organized, and highly motivated; able to work independently.
