The Front Desk Receptionist plays a crucial role in creating a positive first impression for clients and contacts. This position involves acting as a communication link, providing basic information, and maintaining a welcoming environment for students and clients. The receptionist is responsible for various administrative tasks, ensuring the front desk area is organized, and upholding school policies while demonstrating professionalism at all times.

  • Schedule appointments using the electronic scheduler
  • Typing letters as directed
  • Filing and preparing UPS and mailing out letters
  • Data entry using Diamond D
  • Answering phones and taking messages
  • Greeting students and clients
  • Performing general office duties
  • Keeping sensitive or confidential school material or documents out of view
  • Maintaining the Front Desk area in a neat and orderly appearance
  • Cooperating with the Campus Director and other CCI staff
  • Clocking in and out
  • Helping students contact requested or appropriate personnel
  • Assisting students in acquiring requested information
  • Attending all required meetings
  • Reporting any major problems to the Campus Director or Office Manager
  • Maintaining supplies and inventory to order supplies sufficiently in advance
  • Upholding and enforcing school policies
  • Demonstrating professional behavior and demeanor at all times
  • Maintaining appropriate confidentiality with staff and student issues
  • Avoiding the use of cellphones during work hours
  • Providing notice of extended leave well in advance
  • Filling out mandatory employee weekly reports each Friday
  • Addressing employee issues to the Campus Director or Office Manager in a courteous manner
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
  • High School Diploma or equivalency
  • 1+ years' experience in a related field
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and computer skills
  • Ability to work on a team and independently
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized
  • Positive attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer service experience (1 year preferred)
